ASIA FOOD & BEVERAGE SUMMIT 2022

On 08 December 2022, the “Asia food and beverage summit 2022 on productivity”, co-organized by Informa Markets Vietnam and the Restaurant Association of Vietnam (RAV), successfully took place. The event is within the framework of the Food &Hotel Vietnam 2022 and belongs to the Project “Developing the productivity of the Vietnamese restaurant – cuisine industry in 2022” chaired by the Restaurant Association Vietnam, accompanied by iPOS.vn Joint Stock Company with the presence of Yummy Japan.

AFBS 2022 brings together many experts to share about: Overview of industry trends in the new context; Applying Kaizen productivity in F&B business; Optimizing the productivity of using human resources through the application of technology/digital transformation, etc. The event was to orient and provide tools to help businesses evaluate their activities, promote productivity, take advantage of opportunities, and raise competitiveness.

Sharing at the event, Mr. Chu Hong Minh, Chairman of the Restaurant Association of Vietnam, assessed that Food & Beverage businesses have been and continue to face many difficulties and challenges when going through. 2 years hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and now the risk of a global recession. To solve the problem, businesses need to find a sustainable solution – which is productivity.

To solve the productivity problem of the Food & Beverage industry, businesses, training units, and organizations operating in the industry have been creating opportunities and raising productivity by providing business support, consulting, and development orientation for the industry… As a result, realizing the desire to contribute to building a foundation for the sustainable development of Vietnamese restaurant cuisine in the following years.
